AI tokens power the AI Copilot. Each query and response consumes tokens based on the complexity and length of the interaction.
How Tokens Work
- Monthly allocation — Each subscription tier includes a monthly token allocation
- Usage per query — Tokens are consumed for both the input (your question) and the output (the AI response)
- No rollover — Unused monthly tokens do not carry over

MCP Apps Tier
The MCP Apps tier does not include AI tokens — instead, you connect your own AI client (such as Claude Desktop) and use your own API keys. This gives you unlimited AI usage at your own cost.

Checking Your Balance
Your current token balance is displayed in the workspace header with a sparkles icon. The badge turns amber when you're running low.
Tips for Managing Tokens
- Be concise — Shorter, focused questions use fewer tokens
- Use specific queries — Targeted questions produce shorter, more efficient responses
